Today I got up, got ready and headed to the buss terminal so I could head to GrenVill. When i arrived I waited for about five minutes before the PCV I would be shadowing came to get me to take me the rest of the way. I would be observing at a place that helps adolescent mothers finish their schooling. It was a nice place, it had a nursery so that girls could bring their children if needed. I got t see how some of the teachers worked with the girls using text books and then I got to watch my co worker play a game with them that I participated in. The program works on all kinds of things outside of the normal subjects in school. The PCV's work ok sell confidence, health, HIV/AIDS, setting goals, talking about healthy relationships and soooooo much more. It was nice to talk to the girls, they where friendly and open. About half way threw are game one of the staff from St.Lucia came to see what we where doing and that was nice to see here. After we finished are game me and my co worker went and had chicken roti down in town. Then we got on a bus to take us back to St. Georges so we could attend a social work convention. We only made it to the last hour but it was good lots of different people lots of different perspectives on how it can be worked on, and changes that need to be made. They had a panel of people at the end who answered questions as well. I thought that was nice and helpful. When that was over we walked into town more and I got to pick up my new digital camera, its nothing fancy but it will tide me over for a bit, but no surprise something ells electronic died today, they hate me. My IPod stopped working, I think I have one more so hopefully that one will last. I don't know what to do about all of the problems I am having with my stuff that 2 iPods, 2 cameras and my computer chargers acting funny. Ohhh well. So any ways I don't think anything ells exiting is going to happen. Shopping and dinner with the host family and to bed early I have another shadowing tomorrow at a special education school.
