today was a grate first day at the Grenada school for special ed (Limes). I was picked up by their priceable basically right outside of my home stay and then we headed about 20 min down to Grand Anse where the school is located in the Lime community. When I got their not all of the teachers had arrived yet so I talked to some of tho children and helped the teachers get everything together for todays event (sports). Once a year they break the kids into different groups that they call houses and they create flags, outfits and marches before they compete agents one another in different sports. So I got to help dress and glitter one of the houses. After that we walked out to the field where they had a DJ, tents and chairs for everyone. The kids did their marches and the judges scored the marches and the flags that they made. It was fun to watch how each kid was included. I have kids at all different leaves of function and ages. I had to leave early for more training but I can cant wait to go back and get started and work with the teachers. I took the bus back to the mary show house for more training on the local slang words. I am going to give you all a list of the words, so do your home work for when you come and visit me here in Grenada.
