Day #42 first day of training in Grenada St. George

So today I woke up at 7am and got ready to head to training. My host mother was at work and I found my host brother in the kitchen, he made me lemon grass tea and breakfast. He also pointed me in the way of the Marry Show House where training will be taking place. I am so bad with directions and I was worried that I was going to get lost. I headed down my steep hill, I was really worried that I was going to get lost and that I would be running late but I asked a few people and they pointed me in the right direction. I found my way with no problems and I was on time. We started off talking about the school system, then we had a police officer come and talk to us about safety and security, then special ed schools. It was a good day.  I like training in Grenada better than St. Lucia because it was more focused on are individual situations. So I will have training until the end of the month and I get sworn in on the 27th, that means I am an official Peace Corps Volunteer, thats going to be an amazing feeling. I also move into my own place at the end of the month I am so exited to be on my own. I got a ride home because my paper work, mosquito net and first aid kit was to heavy to carry home so that was nice. I had some down time before my host mother came home and feed me pizza and cake. I took a COLD shower :( and then she gave me dinner, I can tell you I am not starving at all. Any ways not much ells to talk about so I hope you all have a good night .

Mis you US, and St. Lucia
