Day # 127 That was scary

5/28/13

Today was a good day I had a big group of kids all painting bottles. Twoards  the end of the day when it was getting hotter we started seating up all of the tables for the art exsubition. We put nice table cloths on and organized all of the art on tops. It looked really good. I was watching one of the children, and he just fell over on the ground with his legs over his face. I rushed over to make sure that he was ok and as I tried to lift his legs off of his face he was so stiff that I had to roll him on to his side. He was having a seizure. His little face looked like he was on so much pain and their was nothing that I could do to comfort him other than hold his head so it dident hit the ground. About a minut latter he came out of the seashure but could not move still because his body had been s tight that they needed to loosen up still. I am so glad that I could be their to comfort him durring and after. Another new teacher was near by watching and when the little boy felt better he sat up looked at me smiled and looked at the other teacher, smiled and waved. He was so used to people  worring about him that he knew that one motion would make everything better. He is non verbal so he could not exsplaine what happened, how he was felling or if he needed anything. I think that was one of the scaryest moments that I have had working with people with disabilitys. I realy think that I am asldo going to try and get some kind of first aid cpr training down here for the teacghers and see if I can make it more specifice to people with disabilitys.
When I got home I cooked dinner and layed down for some relaxing me time, just me and the cat. I like the cat she is cute and cuddely, she also talks to you and follows you ever where. But man does she shead like no other. She's white so I can see her hair on everything. I went to bed early and i am so glad that I did because I feel like I was catching up on some much needed sleep after my cold
