Day # 112 Jacks

It was a nice day at school I had a group of three students working with me to make another soap duck. It was fun helping the kids make yarn bows. after school I decided to stop along the water and get what they call Jacks (Small Fish) They blow a conch shell every time they come back from fishing and have some to sell. It was my first time buying some, but it was time because I need to work some more protein into my diet because of all the working our and not eating as much meat. Any ways I took the jacks up to my host mothers shop and she showed me how to clean them. Its not hard but not to much fun either playing with fish guts. She also fed me lunch. I miss her big meals at her restaurant chicken, potatoes, salad and ground provisions. When i got home I seasoned the fish with all kinds or stuff garlic onions and powders. Then I deviled them up into bags so some could go in the freezer. I breaded some of the fish and fried them in a light oil of dinner. I am getting better at de boning the fish when I eat it. I really wish that I could get some nice boneless fish at the store, because its expensive at the fish market, thats why I though I would get some in town along the water. After dinner I went to dance class and had a grate time trying to learn some new line dances I need to bring my video camera again so I can practice the new ones at home.
