Today was a fun day I went class and then came home with Gabi and Chase I gave them a tour of the chickens, explained how the farm worked and then we watched Yanick try to light the bamboo. Bamboo bursting is when you add a flammable substance to your hollowed out piece of bamboo its kind of like fire works but just sound, smoke and flames. After that Briget, Elsabeth and Vatisha came and the party started, My host mother was coking up a storm. She made aqua witch is like a fish patties, back (bread), chicken wings, cocoa tea, salad, and plantain salad. An extra bit of excitement was Marvin decided he was going to DJ for me I felt to special. The girls also decided that they where going to dance for everyone, free internment. It was so much fun to dance and have my family their with me I could not have all 25 of them but I had the 8 that lived closes come over. It was grate even my PCV friend got to cook and try new things. It was an amazing evening that ended with Champagne and home made wine. It was good wine too.
