Day # 25 Zip lining / cultural event

Ok so saturday was amazing we got to do the zip line and the sky ride. We took a tram threw the rain forest tree tops. When we got to the top of the mountain we hiked for 15 min while are tour guide pointed out different types of ferns, trees and flowers. It was an amazing magical place. We didn't see any animals other than birds, not even a snail. I was tariffed to do the zip line but once I got strapped in I just went for it. We did 9 zip lines threw the tree tops, I was trying to take pictures while I was flying threw the trees but I was to nervous. Their is a lot that you need to do, keep your head back, hold on to to the bar and keep your feel up. It was a grate feeling to so something that I was scared or, and now I can cross that off of my bucket list. It was a grate day.

Then It was on to the cultural night with the Peace Corps. We all had to get are families to work on something to the rest of the group. We did a skit on how people used to do house work in the old and days. We made a broom from sticks, soap from leaves and used a corn husk to wash are cloths. My host mother narrated and my host sister acted with me. A lot of people dressed in the traditional clothing for their presentations. People did poems, songs, skits and much more it went from 6pm-9pm. It was a lot of fun. I was so tiered after that I couldn't write on my blog but here it is so enjoy.
