Dear friends of Peace Corps,
Have you ever wondered what life is like as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Eastern Caribbean? Do you want to learn more about Grenadian culture, international volunteerism, and fostering the spirit of world peace and friendship? Well you are in luck!....
This year to celebrate Peace Corps Week the Peace Corps Eastern Caribbean Volunteers in Grenada have set up a Google Hangout on Air for Thu, Feb 27, 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM Atlantic Time (NOTE: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM Eastern Time). I invite you to join us in a 1-2 hour webinar where we will explain our work, life as a volunteer, Grenadian culture, and answer your questions. You can view the Hangout live by clicking our link for YouTube or watching on G+.
Although you can watch on YouTube without one, in order to ask questions you must have a G+ account, so set one up ahead of time if you think you might wish to do so. To post a question on YouTube simply type your questions in the comments box (where it says “share your thoughts”). You can also ask questions during the broadcast via the Q&A app by accessing the G+ event page, or clicking "Be part of the conversation, click to join live Q&A on Google+ Hangouts" directly in the YouTube video window. You may ask questions at any time during the presentation and we will answer them when the Q&A portion arrives. Questions may address volunteer work and life, the process of joining Peace Corps, Grenada and its culture, etc.
I urge you to be in the audience for this unique opportunity to share our experiences and passions. Please contact maxharleman@gmail.com if you have any technical questions concerning this event.
Regards,
