Monday
I feel like since I have been in Grenada my colds have hit me at the worst times. This week school is only in session two and a half days, due to trainings for teachers and grading day. Sunday night before I went to bed I started to feel a head ache coming so I thought maybe I was dehydrated, I drank a bunch of water and took some IB Pro-fin. When I woke up this morning I had the worst headache behind my eyes that I didn't even want to open my eyes. I took some more IB Pro-fin and drank some more water. I had no change a half and hour latter so I had to call in for that day. I did nothing but keep a cool cloth on my eyes all day. It was not a productive day at all. I hate those days. I couldn't even paint bottles.
Tuesday
I dont understand how I went from a headache to a runny nose, scratchy eyes and throat. It was another day in bed doing nothing. Rain has been falling so much here I am wondering if that has something to do with e getting sick so much. In Grenada people believe that several things will make you sick, sleeping with wet hair, or being out in the rain. I got to bed all of the time with wet hair and walk in the rain because its so hot here that I feel the need to cool off. Who knows maybe some of what I think are their myths are true and it just depends on the place you are.
